M.V. Fuse Cutouts
Medium voltage fuse cutouts(dropout fuses), 24KV, 100A, 125KV BIL, 8KA sym, 12 KA asym in three versions: (A)Normal insulation fuse cutout with porcelain insulators, (B)Heavy insulation fuse cutout with porcelain insulators and (C)Heavy insulation fuse cutout with HTV silicone rubber insulators. Description This single venting type cutout fuses provide a full-fault spectrum protection of 24kV overhead distribution systems whether applied to overhead transformers, capacitors, cables or lines. 'Full fault spectrum protection' means that cutouts interrupt all faults from the lowest current, that will melt the fuse link, to the maximum rated interrupting current, under all realistic transient recovery voltage conditions. Fuse cutouts employ a single venting 'down and away only', a recovery important feature where exhaust must be kept out of other phases in overbuilt circuits. The electrical system characteristics are as follows: -Nominal voltage(kV): 20 -Maximum voltage(kV): 24 -Nominal frequency(Hz): 50 -Short circuit level(MVA): 250 -Impulse withstand voltage: 125kV, 1,2/50μsec
