2000A/24kV Disconnectors
Description
The medium voltage (24kV), 2000A, vertical break, manually operated disconnector is used in 20kV/24kV overhead distribution lines for isolation purposes according to IEC 62271-102 & IEC 60694 (IEC 62271-1) standards. Τhey are installed at both sides of the main 150/20kV substation circuit breaker. They are manufactured in order to withstand the harshest environmental conditions and high pollution levels. The base of the disconnector and all non current carrying parts are made by formed hot dip galvanized steel. The insulators are made of high quality brown porcelain. The disconnector's contacts, terminals and blade are made of tin-plated copper. The contacts are self cleaning and always maintain constant pressure and once secured in the closed position can withstand seismic, wind and other vibrational forces without opening. All screws, nuts and washers are made of hot-dip galvanized steel to ensure long and trouble free operation. This type of disconnector has been manufactured by our company for more than 20 years. Our products have been operating trouble-free in the Greek power grid throughout all this time. The disconnectors can operate under the following conditions: Ambient temperature (oC): from -25 to +45 Altitude from sea level(m): 1000 Relative humidity: less than 95% Ice coating (mm): max 10 Pollution level: moderate to heavy Wind speed: 150km/h
Electrical characteristics Rated voltage(kV):20 Maximum voltage(kV):24 Rated frequency(Hz):50 Rated current(Α):2000 Short circuit level: 10kA(rms) / 25kA(peak) Short circuit duration(sec): 3 Insulation level(kV): 24/50(60)/125(165) Mechanical endurance: 1000 operations
