STALCO S.A. was founded in 1972 as an Electrical Equipment Industry. Quickly became a pioneer of the Greek Industry on its field. STALCO’s products are installed mainly on the Greek Power Grid of whom it is a main supplier.
STALCO’s factory was built in 1973 and is located at the First Industrial Zone of Volos (Central Greece) in an owned area of 55.000 m2, including 15.000 m2 of indoor facilities.
In 1977 STALCO began operating a Steel Constructions Department thus producing high technology metal compartments regarding the Energy Sector (equipment compartments for lignite mines, Thermoelectric and Hydroelectric Stations, Refineries etc.).
To supply the Greek Power Grid with reliable products, it is required to conform with certain specifications. To accomplish this STALCO has a Quality Control Department with all the required equipment and trained personnel.
STALCO’s products go through quality control tests according to International Standards and in case Quality Certificates are required, they are issued by International Recognized Organizations.
The last several years STALCO is expanding its network by offering services including Medium and Low Voltage Operations.
STALCO to this day applies the most evolved methods and equipment for the manufacture of its products and is regarded as one of the most reliable companies in its fields of activity .
