Stalco S.A. was founded in 1972, starting as an Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company. It quickly became a pioneer in the Greek Industry, with is products primarily installed in the electricity network of PPC, where is serves as a key supplier.
The Stalco factory, built in 1973, is located in the A' Industrial Area of Volos, covering 15.000 m2 on a privately owned plot of 55.000 m2.
Since 1977, Stalco has expanded with the establishment of the Composite Metal Structures department, which produces specialized high-tech components for the energy sector, including parts for lignite mining equipment, Thermal and Hydroelectric Stations, Refineries and more.
