Beta Type Fuse Disconnecting Switches 30/36 kV

Single Pole Fuse Disconnecting Switches operating at (30/36) kV, type BETA AF 36, with nominal current at 200 A. Operated through an insulating rod, they are capable for outdoor installation.

The Fuse Disconnecting Switches are manufactured by Stalco S.A. according to the Technical Description of the PPC SS – 14/2 and IEC 62271-102, IEC 60282-1.

Description

The Fuse Disconnecting Switches are installed vertically or on a 30⁰ angle on a steel frame and they are equipped with fuse links operating at 1-5 A (up to 80 A).

Their base is made of hot dip galvanized steel according to ASTM Standards – Specification A153 - 65, that two TR-7 insulators are fixed on. One insulator has a fixed contact made of tin-plated electrolytic copper equipped with the fuse link locking mechanism. The other insulator has a rotating fuse link made of tin-plated brass.

The fuse links are equipped with striker and automatic disconnecting mechanism that operates when a fuse is blown. The fuse link can be operated using an insulating rod.

All the necessary materials for the mounting of the Fuse Disconnecting Switch are provided (mounting screws).
