Medium Voltage (20/24 kV) cast resin Current Transformer, capable of outdoor installation, 0,5 FS5 class.
The Current Transformer is manufactured by Stalco S.A. according to IEC 60044-1 and the PPC Technical Description SS-109/2.
The main part of the Current Transformer is made of high-quality resin material designed to endure outdoor installation in areas of high humidity, sun exposure, rain, snow, and high level of pollution.
The terminals are made of tin-plated brass and all the washers of high endurance composite rubber material to withstand for many years conditions of high temperature and sun exposure.
The secondary terminal box is completely rain and humidity proof, whereas it is designed to dispose safely the humidity that could be created because of the condensation.
The creepage distance is at least 744 mm (Pollution level IV – Very Heavy). The accuracy class is 0,5.
This type of Transformer is capable to operate trouble – free at 20 % over the Nominal Current.
