The high quality resin used on this product has been designed especially for medium and high voltage applications. It has superb resistance to arc, sun exposure, humidity and excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics and reliability. The resin filler used has been treated with silane products to improve the insulation under severe weather conditions.
All exposed copper parts are tin – plated and the steel parts are galvanized for improved endurance in environmental conditions. The terminals are made of tin-plated brass and all the washers of high endurance composite rubber material to withstand for many years conditions of high temperature and sun exposure.
The secondary terminal box is completely rain and humidity proof, whereas it is designed to dispose safely the humidity that could be created because of the condensation.
This type of Transformer is capable to operate trouble – free at 20 % over the Nominal Voltage.
