Manufactured to withstand the harshest environmental conditions and high pollution levels. The base of the disconnector and all non-current carrying parts are made by formed hot dip galvanized steel.
The insulators are made of high-quality brown porcelain. The disconnector's contacts, terminals and blade are made of tin-plated copper.
The contacts are self-cleaning and always maintain constant pressure and once secured in the closed position can withstand seismic, wind and other vibrational forces without opening.
All screws, nuts and washers are made of hot dip galvanized steel to ensure long and trouble-free operation.
The operation of the Single Pole Disconnectors is done manually using a hookstick, whereas the Three Pole Disconnectors with a metal handle. The Disconnectors can be mounted vertically or with a 30o angle from the vertical on a steel structure.
